Bear have been sighted over here on this side of the state too recently. Strange because they're predominantly more south and over in WV

Days off and shit weather? Time to route that coax cable sort of correctly. Found a magic "udder" in the firewall that was easy to jerk off (years of practice paying off) and shove the cable right through. Cable came into cab in the right top corner of the passenger footwell. Snaked it around the lining at the top and shoved it under the console, popped it back out next to passenger seat and into my 75-822 in the center console! Pretty happy how unnoticeable it is. Also, I put the antenna on the hood because I don't have clearance in the garage so roof is a headache taking it on and off.

I also bought a tow strap. And ordered a softopper. Whoo!

The Midland is supposed to be decent. Bonus is you can attach a whip antenna with a mag mount and you have a full capacity CB. I think it all comes in a set. See RIGHT CHANNEL RADIO.

Second for the midland 75-822. Tons of stuff in the box including the cig power / coax in adapter to turn it into a full on vehicle cb. We got ours on Amazon for $75 and I use the Wilson lil wil magnet antenna which was another 40. The rubber ducky on the midland even isn't crap, I've gotten transmissions from it at ranges up to about 1.75 miles clearly. With the real antenna, the sky's the limit

@Lt_Dan if you don't have anything by March I can borrow my friends setup and let you use it for the weekend probably. He's potentially coming anyway so won't need it

How have I missed all these posts? Any who, had fin at DB, nice to meet a few people. Ended up getting drunk with my buddy that happened to be there then ended up DT cincy until 3am :)

Picked up that midland handheld, a tow strap and a few more shackles. Looking at tires next. Really want 34s but I have only had my truck for 6 months and cant start cutting on her just yet, maybe next set :) Think I am going with cooper 255 85 16s, or getting new wheels too and going 255 80/17.

Glad to see the convoy is shaping up to rep the nasty nati :)

Saw @phishtaco on my way back from honey baked earlier. Cant miss his truck. Dont see many lifted, white gen 4 runners.

I saw a black lifted early 4th gen on the Norwood Lateral yesterday.

I should have looked in my mirror today.
