That looks very similar. Mine has the up/down arrows that when paired with the new homelink systems will let you know when the door is going up or down - mine appears identical to the one from the Limited as far as I can tell - I actually bought it on here in the marketplace when a member posted it advertising that's it was from a Limited - however the mode number was different and a google search showed that it came from a Lexus line. But it was plug and play.

Yeah - I have an SR5 on order and that is literally the only thing I don't like about the exterior of the truck. I can live with it but would prefer color matched.

So do I. I have chrome end caps.

This is directly from the 2016 brochure. Not saying yours doesn't but it isn't even an option to add it.

Clips. The alloy has teeth (if that's the right word)
You can't remove them by hand if it's on correctly. The cap that fell onto hands was not secured. I couldn't push it in either. Probably needs a mallet

No expert here, but check this for sure:
go to settings>bluetooth>tacoma and ensure "allow notifications" radio button is on.

    The SR comes standard

It looks like you have an SR with the convenience package. Not an sr5 with the appearance package. Based on the pics I see of your truck, you have the basic entune and no fender flares. Sr5 has the 2nd level entune (no nav, just that scout GPS) plus the fender flares in the appearance package.

That's what I said, SR with the SR5 appearance packing which included the dark alloy wheels and the convenience package included cruise, keyless, not sure what else. I chose this specific truck for a reason. I hate all the chrome and hate the fender flares even more. I love the all body color look and simplicity of my truck. May not have it much longer though lol At Toyota now looking at 4Runners

I have an SR5 with the appearance package and this is correct. I personally don't mind the chrome with my MGM. I didn't really have a choice in the matter on color but quite happy with the choice that was made for me :)

Your color keyed bumper does not come from the sr5 appearance package. It comes from having an SR instead of an sr5.

So if I go with the line-x option there's no need to powder coat the sliders?

That's possible, I just know it was exactly what I wanted and had body color bumpers over chrome or non painted.

Correct, they will come bare if you don't get the line-x and you will need to have them painted or coated locally

Today, gave her a bath (shout out to Bud's Carwash in Bel Air, MD!). But over the last few weeks I've added a Pro grille, fogs, and skid plate.

de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!

Here's a few pics of the new lights, front and rear. And a recovery d ring hitch.
The front light also has 3 settings that the light bar will flash. Will flash either white or amber. Very cool.
