I can def understand the worry, but the "not my truck" side of me says bring it and we can always park it if there is concern (and either fix it or just let sit so no damage is done) haha

also we can put the skid on there if you need an extra set of hands to install/remove while out there if it makes it easier. I hate removing my pelfry skid, which is why I still have yet to remove my sway bar since the skid has to come off first

I like it but for me I wouldn't want to live there. A nice place to visit for a few days though.

its okay when you break your lower strut mount again I'll be nice and save you a $300 tow truck bill :p

I'm sure it would be fine.. and I have a rack on the way being installed. Worst comes to worst I go get my trailer...

I'm good doing it myself with a floor jack but I'm lazy haha 1/4" steel is heavyyyy

Slider order complete! Shipping to commence. Once I heal up, install. But that'll be closer to April.

Tom, did you remove yours? I've been contemplating it but would like to know how the BP-51s perform without.

Brian, you do kinda play in a whole different field! LOL.
Maybe I'll just take it off and see. Time never seems to be on my side though.

Yes, with my last suspension. Was ok, but a fair amount of roll. With the bp51s, due to the heavier springs, it barely rolls at all, BUT, the amount of articulation, especially up, will let you do stuff your truck would never do with the bar on! IMO, MUCH better. And more supple. On road handling basically not affected unless you tend to hang a lot of bat turns.
Take it off and drive some . If u don't like it, stick it back on, but I'm telling you the off road capability is so much better.

Mine is a life as well. I'm running king 700lb. It rides like it's always been there but with more flex.

Same with me. I removed the sway bar when I broke LCA. With 650# springs and it was firm but in u turns on the throttle it would sway a bit. I switched to 700# coils to reduce preload, and they perform better in the corners and minimize the body roll. I need to add a few cranks on the coil overs, I'm diving in the front a fair bit now that I've removed my RTT/rack and misc recovery equipment from the bed.

I cleared out unnecessary items in my truck with all the recent talk of lights and other offroad tools being stolen, even whole trucks in the middle of the night. In the almost 8 years I've lived in my current house I've never had any issues with theft. :fingerscrossed:

Been making me think about a lockable tonneau cover. Short bed tonneau's seem hard to find in these parts without paying retail. :Edit: I guess now that I've actually searched CL for a tonneau I found a hit in the first 5 listings. Ha. :anonymous:

Ayyyy. Turns out MSRP is indeed for suckers.

Getting a front runner rack, awning mounts, tent mounts, and 2 sets of the eye bolts for $100 less than I could get just the rack for at Mule.

Well, I just finished getting the rest of my stuff out of the 4Runner and replacing some bulbs in the dash that were out.

The feels are starting to set in as we embark on our final journey together.

It was a beauty of a rig, for sure. Love the 3rd gens.

I bet the GX will take some of the sting away, the though!

Hopefully! Tahuya is mild. Maybe it'll kick it up a bit.
