I know this is an old thread, but I'm curious how well your Treadwrights have held up. They came up in my research. Pretty interesting how they're made. Not your average retread. Overall, people seem rate them pretty well. How would rate them?

How did you get aftermarket shackles to work with the Dakars? I tried a set of Toytecs and they didnt fit at all.

How much gap does that bumper give around the sides and grill? Is it tight up or have some slop in it? Its a trail gear correct?

Yes, it's a TG. I'll try to get some better pictures. I had all grey metal behind the bumper when I took of my stock bumper. So I painted it all matte black. Looks way better! The last picture is right after it was installed. You can see all the grey behind it. I have heard people having to cut into their grills to fit a winch.

Looks good, i love tube bumpers but not sure how i feel about the larger gaps between the bumper and fenders/grill. Decisions discussions

I had zero issues with them and they lasted a long time (with regular rotation intervals). I put 35k on the first set and then shipped them via CL for $200! Then bought another set for $400 so I was only out another $200. When I sold the truck they had about 12k on them and were barely broke in. Handled great in the snow, mud, rain etc. Almost identical tread pattern to the BFG A/T KO.

Good to know. I saw a video of their (re)manufacturing process. I like the idea of reusing good used tires to make new ones. I think they are a good value, especially if your budget won't allow dropping a grand or more on new tires. Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.
