OK guys I need some advice on a set of tc ucas I got a set on my Taco, but they squeak like crazy over every damn little bump. I have replaced the bushings. Also I have tried the silicone lubricant spray as advised by tc. That works for a few days but then starts again. The best fix I can find is pulling them apart and greasing the piss out of everything. That seems to work for about 2 weeks. Has anyone found a better fix? Other than just replacing them, not cost effective at this point.

 

Everything I've read say they always squeak. The set I have on now do also it's something to live with with uniballs

Anyone on here use Gaia or Hema Explorer on a tablet for off-road navigation? I'm trying to decide on one or the other. Hema has terrible reviews on google play while Gaia has great ones. The crazy thing is that I've heard they are both built on the same engine and are very very similar. Basically I'm trying to figure out why there is such a disparity in the reviews?

 

Yup, my TC always squeak. Most of it comes from the poly bushings, those squeak a bit in my AP leafs too.
I believe the one mistake I made when installing my TC is I lubed the shit out of the inside and outside of the bushings before inserting them in the arms. I thought I read somewhere after that TC says not to do that because 1) when you grease the zerks it will never reach the outside part of them due to the inner channels in the bushing meant to allow lube down the inner sleeve, 2) it causes the arms to rotate around the bushings which eventually become dry instead of the bushings staying tight in the arms and rotating around the sleeves.
*I just checked their instructions and it only specifies grease on sleeves and the ID of the bushings.

I've been meaning to pull them out and redo everything and would definitely like to hear others on here with more experience or thoughts on lubing the bushings at install.
