    I got a whole box of bad ones last time. BIL owns a vape shop and they have gotten entire cases of them that won't work.

    I looked at them as well as the Masterbuilt. I'd like to go electric as it's worked well with my Brinkman. Really don't want to go charcoal or proprietary (ie expensive) wood biscuits or pellets.

    Also looked at propane but that means I always have to be prepared with a spare and it sucks to have it run out in the middle of a smoke.

    Well i took the coil apart when it wasnt workin and the coil looked good (like i took the whole coil out like just the wire) and it wasnt ground out on anythin and i put it back together with no chance in results.

    I can use wood chunks with my Brinkman. Apparently you can use either chips or chunks in the Masterbuilt.
