Yeah I have the opposite problem, mine goes into open loop almost immediately with little throttle input. Stays in open loop and at 6 psi the afr is reading 16 unless I hammer down the throttle then the afr drops. So my closed loop is okay it's the open loop which is the tune. From what I hear from actual people running the dealer flash is it goes into open loop with little throttle input and the afr drop immediately. This makes sense since more air requires more fuel...magnuson emailed back asking some questions so will keep you guys updated.

This bums me out. I don't know you Mike obviously, but I feel for you guy. I love my truck. I look at him as a close friend. We've had amazing adventures together. And he's always been there for me. I can always depend on him getting whatever Job I throw at him done. If it was me in your shoes, I would be so down. For a while too. Hopefully you get a good amount of dollar back from his sale. All the best guy.

It also bums me out to see some of you struggling to get the right tune. What a frustration.

I've been playing defender of the Magnuson tune. And will continue to. I did my dyno today and got the results I think most could agree as safe and desirable. For anyone reading this on the fence of installing the blower, the Magnuson tune works....for most. And for the fact that it's sort of a coin flip that it will work for you or not; is justification for saying the Magnuson tune can't be trusted yet.

I'll definitely invest in a AFR and boost gauge in a couple months. But the dyno test has help ease my anxiety of the SC install.

But for now...time to install a catch can!

That looks spot on camby, wish my afr looked that good... :(

Question for you guys, I am trying to rule out fuel delivery as a problem. It wouldn't be the fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator right? If it was either one of those then I wouldn't run an afr of 10 or 11 when I am wot right? Just doing a sanity check, I would think if it was either one of those I would run way lean wot.

I went through the same thing. It's not fuel pressure if you're seeing AFR dip that low.

Not too sure if it has already been discussed here but with a quick yes or no should I be ok to drive the truck to the dealership down the street for reflash after I install the SC myself as long as I don't initiate any boost?

Yes, you will be fine. Just be gentle on the throttle.

I posted the truck for sale on Craigslist. Not sure I'll be taking anything off of it. What I meant was I have parts I ordered that were going to go on the truck. EBC brake kit, urd afr calibrator and intake.

Has anyone received their CARB decals? Or any info on when they'll be sent out. I've reached out to magnuson via email after being contacted from Cindy? I believe that was here name. But not sure when they'll be sending them out.

How do we get them? I just printed out the CARB EO from the state gov't site for now.
