Haha I know, I used to live in SoCal. Never though anything about 30 would be a good day

You do lots of car washings and detailing, correct?

Recommend any one kit over another? I'm looking to give the 4Runner a really good detailing as I never have and I'm sure it's been a while since it's been done. I have nothing so I'll be starting from scratch. I know to use the two bucket method and that's about it. I want to get a spray gun and wax kit, just have no clue on where to start

At least your sliders got some work. Haven't tested mine out. I need weekends off

Nice. At least you had them when you needed them. Imagine if you didn't have them.

That is a big money fix...

Sliders are probably most important/useful armor.

I agree. Also double as a useful step for stuff in the roof.

True. If I didn't have to rebuild my front end I could do a roof rack and RTT with my tax return :(

Main reason I got fill plates was dog step. I worry about their legs slipping through the sliders and breaking :(

Also great at keeping road debris off the side of the truck, and a step for the GF in heels.

That's a good idea. Luckily my dog is big enough he just jumps right into the back seat. My GF hates my "steps".

Speaking of front ends... I feel dumb.

Remember the clunk I had? It was my skid plate. It was just barely loose so I didn't notice from kicking it and such.

However, another one started up like a day after I fixed that one. I think the UCA on the passenger side is loose. Gotta tighten it up. Anybody know the torque spec? I think I remember like 90??

We looked crazy haha. I had Lindsay jumping on the front bumper to make it clunk while I rolled under feeling anything it could be that was loose. Pretty positive it is the UCA.

Are you running stock UCA's? I haven't had issues with mine but I haven't been off-roading as much as you have.

Same. She hates my Runner and it's "ugly" lol. I convinced her on a 5th gen or GX470 though. As long as I agree not to modifie it.

    They are Icon UCAs.

Haha I sold her on my rig because she thought it looked nicer than my truck, now she thinks it's uglier. She really hates swing out bumpers and roof racks which happen to be my two favorite things.

She thought this looked great (Other than the wheels):
