    Does feel a bit loose but I can feel the subtle clicks. The original metal insert to swap over is impossible to pry out without destroying the metal piece. But it's not like one is always touching these knobs like a radio knob and adjusting.

    Not what I meant. With the OEM knob, you can tell which setting it's at, by touch, because the "rib" is in-line with the arrow. The aftermarket knob is completely round.

    For what it's worth... Chinese new year just kicked off. Might add at least a week to any shipping because all those dudes over there are halfway to fadedville by now and will be.. for about a week.

    /my company works with a semiconductor fab over there and we HAD to get any new orders in by last week prior to the festivities starting. YMMV

    Lift, tires, mats, blah, blah, blah...
    The metal inserts come out rather easily with a tiny screwdriver with no damage to the insert or OEM knob. Unfortunately, they don't fit in the channel of the new knobs.

    edit: they do once you drill them out!

    Silly idea, but what about a drop of clear silicone to hold them tighter? Light will still come through, and they would come off if you needed them to...
