I am debating between 235's or 255's... 235's would be great and I think mpg would be still great but don't want to regret not goong 255's lol

It was looking great on my 1990 and does look great on 1st gen but the nee ones are kinda oversize...
235/85/16 are the same height than a 265/75/16 tho... so both would look great from the side lol

Take a look at @ecgreen build, he has cooper st maxx in 235's and truck looks good!

Cause I'm running Bronze TRD wheels with 4.5" backspacking +10mm offset and with my 265 75 16's im running .75" Bora Spacers and if I get a 235 85 16 I was thinking a 1.25" spidertrax will put it at the same width my tires are at now with the smaller tire!

Sounds like you got it lol in 235's you have more tire choice than in 255's and even more if you go with 265's. But I notice the 235's are mostly in LT and kinda heavy... but you get more traction from the skinny tire!

Ya, my P265 75 16 Falken Wildpeak AT3W's weigh in at 44lbs a tire and a 235 85 16 Cooper ST Maxx Weighs 49lbs so not too much more since its a E.

Wow that is some fast wear! Glad you've posted this because I was considering those tires in P-metric for my next set. I'm going the opposite from a LT265/70R17 Duratrac load E to a LT265/75R16 Cooper AT3 load C on my rig (V6 FJ Cruiser) because of cost reasons and my commute has jumped up to 90 miles a day.

I think you should look into LT265/75R16 Toyo RT or Mickey Thompson ATZ P3 if you want to go the hybrid AT/MT route.

I run 235/85/16 ST Maxx and they are awesome. They don't look any skinnier than the stock 245s but are almost 2 inches taller. I'd buy them again. It's the way to go if you fully stuff your tires like I do and want absolutely no worries about rubbing anywhere without hacking up your truck. That and I never liked the "bulging" out look of the 265/75s, but we shouldn't really be choosing based on looks to begin with.

Just ordered my 4 cylinder 4wd access cab. It comes with the Hankook Dynapro H/T tires. Are they any good?

Yea I had them on my steelies they are good tires. What I would do if I were you is (what I did) watch the sales part of the forum and wait for someone close to you that is selling their trd rims with tires and get those.
