Well had leaf springs done on the recall and read previous some where about not being torqued right from the dealer.
So after about 400miles on them, weather finally is dry and warm, I crawled under there and retorqued them as to a chart I had from years back, (1/2 grade 5 u bolts torque to 85-95ftlb) so I did @ 87ftlbs.
Now coming on here reading and doing a bit of searching I see they probably should have been 73ftlbs.
Should I loosen and retorque to the 73ftlbs or just leave them? Has the bolt or threads stretched or any ill effects been caused? Never dove yet at the 87ftlbs. Thanks for the help.

Leave em, for sure, for the same reason you don't ever re use ubolts. They stretch when being torqued, so leave em and your fine.

73 ft-lb was never substantiated. The service manual said 37 ft-lb, so people figured it was probably a misprint and should've been 73 ft-lb. 87 ft-lb is closer to the spec for 1st gen Tacomas.

Most repair shops (including respected ones like South Main Auto) don't bother with a torque wrench or torque stick on suspension fasteners including U-bolts. They use a 1/2" drive impact gun and get them roughly to the 80-90 ft-lb range.
