de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!
Comes with a mounting bracket just the right height. It's about 2" high roughly

I am actually thinking of doing the front camera as well. Can you tell me how exactly you did it and what item you purchased. I'm glad someone else has the same idea I do. Was starting to think I was the only one that was interested in a front camera. This is actually my next project I was going to start in a couple weeks.

Well 3RD generation owners, I'm looking for a little feed back on towing.
What was the heaviest you've towed to date with your taco ??? And.i don't
Mean hauling a BMW, ( a Big Maine Woman) . Haha. I towed with mine
For the first time today, keep in mind I have 2225 miles on it, I used a
Landscape utility trailer and hauled some scrap metal to the recycling place, the total weight was no more than 2000lbs including the trailer
I did have some pretty good size hills on the way but, I found it lacks power it struggled the motor was at 4000rpm for most of the way! Should I be giving it more time for break in before towing ??

I actually went to Tustin Toyota to buy my truck, but had a bad experience with a salesperson. I landed up getting mine in the South and got a great deal. I live half a mile from Tustin Toyota, so I figured give their service garage a try, and they've been great so far. Added bonus is I wave at the guy who could have sold me a truck that day. I'll keep an eye out for you!!

Thanks! I had my Tacoma done up pretty nice, i'll do the same with the 4Runner. 3" lift and 33s are in it's near future. Here's my Tacoma and my 4Runner. 4Runner was before they detailed it and all that.

Got my truck back this morning. Quiet and smooth. No vibration! Yea! Called Tuff country yesterday let them know what happened. He said if I would have called right away they would have tried to troubleshoot it. Said they haven't had any problems but then again nothing with my truck has been easy. I am just happy it is all good. :)

Took my 16 year old son to A&W tonight just to go for a drive! Wanted to try the Hondo mount that has waiting for the truck to get home. Love it! Also put the led license plate bulbs in that the dealership said kept blowing a fuse. What a pain getting my hand in there. But I got it and they didn't blow so another positive! Now my buddy will always be with me! Screenshot_2017-01-28-19-30-53.jpg Screenshot_2017-01-28-19-31-05.jpg

    Added rubber!

-4x6' stall mat which I had to cut into shape with a saw... I didn't do very well but it only looks bad if you look close enough, heh.

-Plasticolor mud guards on the rear which were easy to install. Easily mounts with the 3 OEM screws that are already there.

Also finally put on my license plates since my University frames finally came in the mail. No pics of that though because it got dark.

Yes. Almost did, because nothing but dry pavement right now, but clicked ot in nice and easy on straight country road tonight. Brought her up to 60 mph. Smooth and quiet. Disengaged, turned around and repeat. Same outcome. My son was with just like when I did it and it was messed up. He was like, sounds great dad. And I guess I have the added assurance that I know he looked at the gears in the front differential and photographed them and they are all good which I wasn't sure of. Can't ask for much more I guess. I50 miles to go then change out rear diff oil again, and hopefully go to go this time.

Watching a kind of goofy movie called Hunt for the Wilder People. They are cruising an old red 80's Toyota pick up in New Zealand!
