have you checked your spark plugs? when was the last time you changed them? check your coil packs. and do a compression check to see if you might have a head gasket leak.

There are many things that can cause a misfire. Fuel delivery, lack of proper compression, lack of spark or weak spark, etc. Most common causes of misfires though are ignition related ie spark plugs or coils. Most of the time if its a fuel related issue you'll have system lean or rich codes as well so you can probably count that out. Does the truck seem to run ok or can you feel the miss? Any more info on the truck would be good too. Which engine, mileage, etc.

Let's hope this doesn't turn into an 867-5309 situation for you.

Am I going to have to be that guy. It is a very good possibility with a 2006 V6 you may have a blown head gasket. Check the oil for coolant and check the coolant for oil. Check the plugs if they are both really clean if so it could indicate coolant leaking into the cylinder. Then check the compression and leak down to see if you have a blown head gasket.

Cross your fingers that you do not. We are rooting for you and hopefully it is just a couple of bad plugs or coils.

Crossing my fingers for you buddy!
