So I'm setting up my upper links today, I'm guessing my pinion angle should be around 6 degrees at full bump. Can anyone verify this?

The geometry of your links will dictate pinion angle change and driveshaft plunge. Their really aren't any hard and fast numbers for that, especially because your bump will be higher than someone who's frame isn't notched

So I've just hit 30! The first thing I decided to do was go check on the rig. Making some good progress! This is going to be the newest 1st Gen Taco on the road!
Custom black out kings are finally done and they are beautiful! Front end work is going into full gear! Some major bracing, gusseting, and armor being done/made.
New radiator and shroud are ready to go, was able to also able to swap out the horrid chrome grill for a black one. Shell is mounted and looks great! Think the bedsides will give me another camping shelf! haha May line-x the top for some grip.

Cross-member and lower control arm armor/gussets! All to be tied into the skid plate. Just getting started.

A little lift and a little armor
What type of frame or reinforcement are you using inside the rear fenders to support that hard top?

If you are pushing your truck hard off road the rack itself will actually get knocked or shift side to side too, causing your steering wheel to be off center, no matter how dialed in your lower arm cams are.

Once you have doing alignments down it's easy to do small adjustments on toe to get your steering wheel straight again and you can check everything else while you're at it.

If you're in a pinch you can do this pretty easily - I got one of my tires within spec and one super close once the first time I tried it. It's good if you're too busy for an alignment or have to drive for awhile before you can make it in for one. I recommend never driving with your toe out if it gets knocked out of alignment. Super sketchy on wet surfaces. Ask me how I know.

I'd like to see some closeup / inside pics of how the shell is mounted - looking good.

Not this year but have in the past. Are your racing class 2000? Are they running at the same time as 1450?

Frame notch with overlay plate. She's coming along but still a lot more work to do. Hopefully a couple more weeks and she'll be ready for a good floggingimage.jpg

None yet. Internal bracing and bed cage are being added. Will post on how that comes along.
