LONG before auto coffee makers, my dad had his coffee maker set up with a light timer - he had to have his coffee as soon as he got up

Hopefully before April we'll have the majority of our outside and parking lot lights at work swapped over to leds or solar with leds. We don't have too many inside the buildings yet, but we do have the new led bulbs on hand so the cleaners can change those out as the old ones blow. The electrical system out there is pretty old an undersized so, until it's upgraded, we need to make the most out of what's there.

just what I need to do what I want
@TownvilleTim -After your post about buying the side steps from the older gentleman for full price, helping him find the right ones (IIRC), and then volunteering to install the new ones, I think you have been paying attention to the messages at church and you are allowed to skip. I cannot tell you how many times I have thought about what you did and what a great example of character, integrity, and grace you showed in that act. I am sure you did not do it for accolades, but to me that was something to be recognized.

@ImpulseRed008 -Miss Susan, I too have considered the Outback but have heard problems with them blowing head gaskets. Have you come across this in any of your research? I am thinking of selling one of my 1st gen tacomas and getting something a little more comfortable/practical but still capable of many tasks for travel, etc. I had only considered the 6 cylinder, you think the 4 cyl is adequate for you? I tend to travel light and would like the extra mileage without compromising performance.

No, I have not heard that. I'm getting a 6 cylinder - I realize I'll give up gas mileage, but when it's road trip time, I want the extra power the 6 has. And when I retire I want to get a small trailer and hit the national parks

We're seeing a trend change at work. More tear drops and Casitas, more being pulled with smaller cars and more retired women (by themselves) with that combination.

@Tacoma Mike, I currently have an 02 and 03 (the 03 is my avatar), so as you can see I tend to keep my stuff for a long time. Maybe I will consider the 6 if they are less likely to blow the gasket, and sell it BEFORE that "mileage" comes up!

He travels with 3 kayaks,3 bicycles, and camping gear for 3 adults. He overloads that poor car all the time, hasn't broken it yet,90,000.00mi.
