Headstrong Offroad recommended an AAL pack to the rear if you are going to do 2" up front. w/o the AAL leaf pack and only doing the 5160 shocks in the rear, the entire rake will be lost and possibly will end up higher up front.

Then get a full leaf pack and rake stays

haven't picked mine up yet. What setting would you guys recommend for about 2.25-2.5" on a dclb prerunner with no weight up front? Trying to avoid 3"

Not sure, but on my 4WD I got just about 2" on the 4th setting. Only added weight I have is an aluminum IFS skid

#3 will put you as close to dead level as you can get with no rear lift.

Notch #4 or #5 would definitely give "bro lean" without a rear lift.

Interestingly enough, my AC w/ 6spd got me about 2.25" on the front (settled) and with the 3 leaf progressive AAL, it has a little rake. Not the best shots for illustrating this, but I don't have any pics of the damn truck from the side.

Looks Good. I have pretty much the same setup. Mine's level because I always have some stuff and tonneau on back.

Nice. I was hoping the 650 spring was just a little longer, but its just beefier. I'd be willing to bet the standard spring is also mfg by Eibach. Just branded Bilstein?

I'm loving the way the 6112s ride. So far, I've only been able to use them on the street but I'm headed up to Big Bear in a couple days. I'm hoping there might be a mild trail or two that aren't closed down due to snow so I can put them through the paces

Its all covered in snow up there big time. Was there over the weekend. About 20" came down, had to put chains on! First time I had to do that with a 4x4. Doubt any trails will be open, but if you go over the back on 18 you will have lots of trails to test. I couldn't resist doing a bit of wheelin on the way home since I never go that way. My girls weren't too keen on the idea. Just did a few hills to get my fix. Have fun.

NP it melts pretty fast so possibly the N shore out to Holcomb Valley may be doable. Post pics

Anybody run these 6112/5160s on a 3rd gen? and I'm debating between these and the toytec boss kit - any recommendations?

The 6112's for the third gen are not out yet. Supposedly the 3rd gen has a stiffer spring rate for the front springs - 717lb vs 600 lb. You could buy 700lb coils and try them.

Im looking forward to seeing side shots of the truck. How's your rake? I bought the HS 3 Leaf AAL but decided not to install it for now. On the 4th notch I'm only slightly nose high. Sometimes dead level depending on the Surface I'm parked on. I love the ride as is and not sure I want it to be stiffer.
