Just curious as to see if any of the MT owners on here have different shift knobs for their 6 speed? The dildo shaped oem one needs to go. I've looked at all the ones on speeddawg.com, hoping to see if anybody has gone with their product. Please post pics if you have them. Thanks!

OEM shift knob for hilux. Got it on eBay. These are pricey but I like the OEM look. It has a little Toyota logo on the bottom area too.

Search around, may find it cheaper

Oops just realized this was 3rd gen. May still work if you've got grey interior :notsure:

I know they are pricey but I bought the TRD Pro Handle, no way I am using that Stock Double Ball looking thing.

The problem with aftermarket shift knobs is they don't attach to the shift boot the way the factory knobs do.

Off topic a bit but weird thinking about it . I would not want anything but a Hurst Tee handle in an older Firebird or Camaro or other muscle car , but a Tee handle in a truck would just be wrong . If I had a M/T in the Tacoma I would want a ball handle.

A lot of guys are using 3/4 rubber grommets to separate and hide the shift boot that doesn't attach to the aftermarket shift knob. Seems to look and work out well from what I understand.

I really like this one, but damn I can't justify to the old lady spending 105.00 on a freaking shift knob!
