32 seems to be the magic number for those running 35's.

    Stuff. Also things.
I'm running 30 in front and 27 in the rear with 315s on a 1st Gen with a bed rack and tent. Only way I could get good results from the chalk test. Any higher and I'm only wearing the center of the tread.

Hmm I haven't even chalk tested mine. I probably should.

    Very nice!

Seems like the ST Maxx directional pulling issues are a thing of the past?...

Just have to break them in.

When mine were new, they pulled to the left. After about 2-2.5k miles they've been fine but now my alignment must be off because they are starting to pull to the right

    Ok, thanks for the info!
Was going to order my 265/75's from Treaddepot, but looks like they are in the midst of changing suppliers/owners...

FWIW, I was able to get Sears Auto to price-match Tread Depot and then Discount Tire beat Sears by $10 per tire. Not a bad deal.

Any one have a measurement of a 255/85/16 ST Maxx mounted and on a tacoma? Coopers website says they are 32.7 in tall.

Here's mine mounted on 16x7 rims 35psi and about 5k miles on them. IMG_6326.jpgEven brand new I don't wouldn't think they were 32.7 and yes they are 255/85-16s.

    Never enough
Any tire from any manufacturer is going to ride smaller than their official spec once they are supporting the trucks weight. I have the 255/85/16 size and love them. Never bothered to measure the true ride size though cause it's not something that matters to me.

Thanks for the quick response @Nazupag524 !! And @mountainmonkey. I've heard they were smaller but that really doesn't matter to me. The good road manners, quiet ride and wet traction outweighs the smaller size, but that means less ⚒
