Why would tire size effect alignment? I thought they aligned it off the hub?

Nah. Extra caster just moves the wheel forward in the wheel well to help with fitting bigger tires. The tech isn't concerned with that, only with getting it within the spec. Requesting the max allowable caster does help with fitting bigger tires though.

When I put on my 35s I maxed out caster with my SPC UCAS and it didn't help clearance for shit. It hurt it. I thought it would help too. Now my UCAS are back at +2 and clearance is better.

Clearance in front of the tire or on the rear of the tire? If you adjust caster from the LCA it moves the wheel forward, helping with clearance at the cab mount. If you adjust it with the UCA it does the opposite.

That explains it better. I adjusted with UCA and it got closer to cab mount. I thought LCA just did camber. How do u adjust caster with LCA?

I think you push the back cam away from the center and the front cam toward the center. That gives you more caster (I believe. I'm not an alignment expert). Move them together in the same direction adjust chamber. Obviously they are linked so adjustments to caster affect chamber.

Depending on what model knobs you got (basic or premium), I'll take them, when you decide to ship and you let me pay for the shipping. I'm a little too far from Lusby to pick up.

No problem. Don't worry about paying. I'm just throwing them in an envelope and putting a couple stamps on it. If no one local says they want them in the next day or 2 I'll mail them to you.

@tcBob i sent 2 messages in the last 4 months with no response or sticker. I heard they take awhile and he ships them in batches. So send him a message but I wouldn't count on a response or sticker for awhile. But it's free! So no complaints lol.
