ripped out all of my carpet

now i have no clue as to what to put in now i am thinking about using that line x does anyone have any suggestions

 

I thought about doing that,But i dont know if it will hold heat or keep it cool it in my DD

 

there is thick soundproofing slash rubber underneth it i think i sm going to just glue rubber down

 

I've Herculined a couple interior floors in Jeeps (Wranglers). So I can't say much about doing it in a tacoma. The Jeep carpet is thin with no insulation, so I didn't really miss it. The fact I could hose out the interior after wheeling trips was a benefit.

I wouldn't do it unless you're able to remove EVERYTHING from the floor (seats, etc) and coat the entire floor with it. Once you coat the floor with it - the floor won't rust (from the top/interior side). After you coat the entire floor - you can add anything you want in terms of carpet or coverings ontop of the Herculiner.

It all depends on what your looking to do... Why did you remove the carpet in the first place? And what are you looking to achieve? Do some research on other forums....

 

I would suggest a spray on, i.e. Rhinoliner and also putting carpet back with some insulation.

 

i get tired of wet muddy carpet thats why i removed it

 

I put down some herculiner in my fj40 landcrusier on the inside but it had no insulation underneath the liner just the steel tub. So i ended up putting in some rubber floor mats because the floor would get so hot if you were bare foot it would burn you. Im not saying your goin to drive around bare foot but if it is going to be your dd and you want the ac and heater to work you probably will need to insulated it with ether a rubber mat or some rubber sound proofing insulating spray on liner.

 

Whats wrong with driving bare foot? 99% of the time I'm driving I'm bare foot.
