I cut apart my bed munted tire rack and repurposed the bed rails. I welded bolts to the rails to mount a hi-lift and mounted a cab basket to the bed rails. All went well until I tried to go to the dump and figured out I'd only clearaanced for 2 trash cans not 3.. So I removed the basket and could just fit the third. Idk I guess we'll see how it works. If I don't like it it'll be gone and I'll do something else.

Would love to see some pics. Mine is actually a 1-of-375 Ram Air 1 car. The powertrain was gone but still cool. Green with the black top are the factory colors, but we've decided to lose the vinyl this time. We're even considering Toyota Spruce Mica for the new paint!

    A thing or two...
What about rigging up some sort of bed extender like you usually see on double cabs, so you can use the bed with the tailgate down. Would that give you enough room for the 3 cans without removing the basket?

I got lucky and bought a bag full off of the Buy/Sell/Trade Other... not from a vendor.

yes it would I hadnt thoght of that. It only takes about 10 minutes to attach the basket so I'll probably just leave it off until needed. Good idea though

Painted the front valence with bedliner to offset the paint matched grille I picked up 2 days ago. Ended up including the lower grille since I couldn't pop it off(bumper must be an aftermarket replacement).
Turned out pretty good-- it'll do until I can get a plate bumper on her :D

Thanks! I think it's a nice touch-- don't like too much paint match going on haha. I used Duplicolor Bed Armor!

Finally got around to doing the fuse block mod I've seen done many times on TW. Had a small piece of carbon fiber plate a vendor had given me as a sample years ago and finally found a use for it. I brake bent an aluminum plate I had to make the angle (yeah I could have gone and bought a piece of angle but that takes the fun and the custom element out of it). Once I got the wiring all figured out using my original light harness, the over all build and install went fairly well and fast. Took me about two hours for the complete build and everything fired up without blowing any fuses.

These actually turn on and off regardless of the key being in the inigtion. I don't have the ac-dc relay and didn't wanna use the EFI relay since they would come on every 4 hours. I would rather just turn them off when I get out of the truck and when I want. I have led pods in my fogs so even if I leave them on it won't drain my battery. I used the 12v slot that just sits in the fuse box for my constant 12v.
