    Shape it! You shape it with your BFH and then paint. (same thing just sounds better)

    Pretty much everything was backed up to the cloud so when I logged into the new phone bam there was most things. Even the background of the pup when he was 5 weeks old with a pheasant wing in his mouth :)

    Had to go into work this evening to setup the security app so I can VPN in from home. Have a few things need to reinstall and organize my contacts between google and Verizon. But all in all it was pretty seamless. Hate that I had to get a new phone but pleased with the outcome so far :thumbsup: But will spend the rest of the night getting the rest of things where it belongs!

    Moto Z Force. Had planned on waiting a few months but kind of forced into it. The Z force has a lot of accessories that snap onto the back of the phone. One of them is a 10X optical zoom camera. Of course had to get the damn thing, lot thinner than a DSLR and figured I could carry it in my hunting vest. Will play with it tomorrow took the day off for the hell of it. And would be robbing work of time until I can focus better. Have 14 days to return it with no restocking fee if I don't like it. They have a lot of other accessories too but most seemed gimmicky to me. So far like the phone. Of course it is USB-C so now I start the transition, grhh...

    ...bedliner paint hides ugly better...

    I lived on the California north coast while I was in high school and that salt air ate everything. My dad had a 79 Ford Courier that developed serious body cancer in less than 2 years.

    Most of my 20 years in the Navy was spent on salt water or living near it. Yeah I've watched rust form before my eyes and not talking flash rust either. Don't miss that. Wait they salt the roads here like crazy for quite a few months of the year, belay my last...

    We have a place on the coast of Oregon, they make paint that holds up. But the grill we got lasted 2 seasons before it was a pile of corroded metal. It was covered and lashed down. I didn't lash it down the first winter and the wind picked it up and tossed it to the other side of the porch, propane tank and all.

    I have said this before to many people and will stick by it . If you live with in a 1/2 mile of the sea, tidal marsh, river, stream, stream fed pond or lake at some point in your owner ship / rental of that property you're likely to end up with that water in your home. I have lived on the coast in the far north, north east etc and everything rusts or corrodes to no end . Now with this liquid salt crap it is even worse for vehicles Mike I am sure can attest to that as can others that do vehicle work in places that use salt or liquid salt . I have no interest in replacing my things , the same can be said for places that have earth quakes , forest fires and mud slides all the time. Yes there are rare events like the minor earth quake relatively speaking here but the percentages are in my favor :}

    Cypher you need to live more on the edge it makes you feel more alive and interesting! But to be bored for a couple of days in a row would be nice LOL.

    When I went to recruiting duty the first time had to take 30 days leave or loose it. Damn sea time. They actually let me take it and it was in the heart of limestone trout streams in SC Pa. some of the best in the country. Went fishing every day for 30 days straight. After 30 days I was more than ready to go back to work which surprised me. Especially considering it was recruiting duty.

    Not saying I want to work forever LOL. Every place I've lived in this country have found beauty of some type. Never dreamed I'd end up in the Midwest are you kidding me?! There is the snow and bone breaking winters. And flat. Heat, humidity and mosquitoes in the summer. And tornadoes. But there are a few weeks out of the year that it is the best place on earth. Unit head told me I could live pretty much anywhere and still work as long as I can connect in to work. My first thought was large RV with all the amenities and traveling the country to stay ahead of the weather. But where would the fun be in that? Well it does sound good right now but it is trying to get down to zero too.
