Haha, links really aren't too bad of price if you do some searching for good deals. I think I paid about 2 grand for my 3-link (coil overs, links, rod ends, brackets)

They're about $40 on Amazon and I don't see any reason it wouldn't work. Did you?

They both will work, i just did a bunch or reading and settled on the heatsink version. Part of the reason was resriction, i wanted to get at least 1 hose out from under the truck and i have some friends running the heatsink version with no complaints. I guess the heatsink ones add more volume than the the radiator style, from what i read.

Hopefully you will know what to look for :D

I have something similar to ToyRyd04's pics below.

Believe it or not, some people did listen to you. I am one of them. That thread you started a few years back about the costs of a SAS really opened my eyes. It was the primary reason why I decided to go with links and 1 tons the first time around. So, thank you for preaching in the past. It saved me a ton of money and frustrations.

That's close to what I paid too; thanks to ruff stuff and their 20% off sales LOL. Got some stuff from ballistic too.

I was wondering if you would reply to Slander's comment at some point LOL

Must've been years back. :luvya: I posted mine over there, hoping to get some tips, constructive criticism, etc. Did I get that? Not really. Wasn't eaten alive like I was expecting, either. Mostly just compliments... I had to recheck which forum I was posting in.

Wow, I guess I have not checked Pirate in a very long time then lol. To be honest, I stopped going there cause it was too excessive. But it seems it has gotten a lot softer!

@slander, do you remember way back in TTORA when people were doing SASs like every other week? Man, it was insane. It seemed like guys were doing it over long weekends; bunch of dudes got together in somebody's house on a Friday and by tuesday morning there was a tacoma with a D44 and leaf springs up front. it's like the got it down to a science LOL

Yea, i mostly miss the wheeling events (takeovers) and the for sale forum. They switched to that stupid ass panjo deal and killed it.

It was several of them including that red one. But yes, Bent Up was doing a bunch of those "weekend" SAS back in those days

    Vertical scope?

I think the TTORA regional areas are more active than the main area (or were, anyway).

Thats the canadian company that buys up forums and ruins them with ads. They royally fucked up pirate as well, but not as bad as TTORA IMO.

Yea the regional forums are active. The problem is (not ttoras fault) but the active southern ones all went facebook and f that noise since i dont have facebook.

I've made peace with the situation long ago. Ultimately I'll end up with a better finished product for a little more money and a lot more labor then I planned. It's taking time, but so what. I no longer have to deal with Toyotas shitty beer can frame.
