@TBlack Thanks for sharing this. Did you order everything from Headstrong-Offroad except for the Wheelers OME driveline carrier bearing drop kit?

No problem man, and yes I did! @HeadStrong Off-Road offers affordable kits with everything you need and is more than helpful with answering any questions you may have. Not sure if the carrier bearing drop kit from wheelers off road was needed but I did it anyways just to prevent any vibes from the driveshaft angle post lift. I did months of research on this setup as well as others and nowhere else came close to headstrong in terms of their affordable complete packages while also offering strut assembly. Made the install go very smooth and didn't break the bank for quality parts. Couldn't be more pleased with the way it turned out.

Have you installed UCAs after the lift? I wanna pull the trigger and purchase this setup but it looks like aftermarket UCAs are required for proper alignment. If you didn't then how's the ride with stock ones? Any issues on the freeway going 60, 70+? Thanks in advance

I am still running the stock UCA's with NO issues. It's been almost a year now and it still rides great especially on the highway at higher speeds. I honestly don't plan on getting new ones until these ones wear out on me. Yeah, the angle is a little steep on them but they don't hit or rub anything and it aligned within spec, not perfect, but still in spec to where I don't get any abnormal wear on parts or tires. I posted alignment numbers after lift a few pages back if you didn't get a chance to see it.

EDIT: alignment numbers pg. 4 post #67.
Toyota couldn't get the caster perfectly in spec but its close enough and just means my wheels sit a little forward in the wheel well, so unless I'm flexing the suspension I don't see it causing an issue and won't cause abnormal wear.
Overall, it drives perfect in the city and highway with stock UCA's.

It seems like most do not need new UCA's with 885 and below. I bought UCA's with my set up because I know down the road when the kids get older, i'll be doing another suspension upgrade. so far I everyone's truck on this post are looking good.

I will be ordering new 5100s, coils and an AAL soon, just waiting on my new rear bumper to get here to see how it sits once installed before I decide what coils to get. Will be ordering from Headstrong and am trying to figure out what AAL to get as well, I have the TSB leaf packs and the rear sags a little with my front currently at 1.75" on 5100s.

Thanks for the info bro. I'm probably going to save up a little more for some UCAs for a peace of mind. You got a clean taco btw!

Thanks man I try to keep her clean! I would have aftermarket UCA's if I had the money to drop on them but there's just way too many other things I want right now haha
Daaamn she looks good. I want those freakin pro headlights man. I also want to color match my front bumper and fender flares down the road. Mine are starting to fade and I'm tired of putting turtle wax on them between washes.

For my lights I did the BHLM. Only costs about $5 I did my color match grill myself too. A little difference in shade of color but hardly noticeable. I'll do it better in a few months. Gotta get better paint and clear next go around. And I'm going to do my rear bumper. I hate chrome

305/65/17 already did cab mount prior to getting the tires. Still need to trim a little bit more off the plastics. Power loss is there, gas mileage dropped about 1.5-2 mpg. I'm getting around 14 city right now. Haven't had a good highway ran tank yet with these.

885's typically don't need new uca's. I have run them on 2 different trucks now with no alignment issues. I do however recommend the 5100's over the ome shocks

i think it depends on your spring pack.
But you could measure ground to fender front and rear then just calculate what you need to make it level.
