I am doing a diet that is very similar to the Paleo diet for the next 30 days, so no haha.

 

I've been doing a similar diet lately, but only during the week. On weekends my diet goes to shit. Oh well...

 

dieting is the worst

 

This one was the GF's idea and i begrudgingly agreed. It's call Whole30. Basically no diary, no wheat, no grains, no sugars, and other things.

 

i just eat pretty bland all week (egg whites and greek yogurt) but when i got out with friends we go all out

 

Because you're looking at it wrong..

 

Are they different than just a regular chocolate donut?

 

Yeah during the week it won't be that tough. I usually just have a salad for lunch, and for dinner we do meat and veggies. The weekends will be tough though. I don't drink during the week and on weekends only have a couple beers or glasses of wiskey/bourbon. So cutting that out for 30 days will be a little tough

And you decided to do this the week before the Superbowl?! And the associated Superbowl parties, with all of that delicious food?!

That's like saying "I'm going to go on a diet for the next month" on December 15th!

 

Speaking of the superbowl, I've decided to make a gumbo the night before. I'm pumped!

 

She wanted to do it for a set month, and January wasn't going to work for a whole bunch of reasons. I wasn't planning on going to any party's next week anyway. I found some good wing recipes that fit with the restrictions so I will do those probably

 

Where does one find one of these yummy gems you speak of?

 

omg it's amazing. it has brownie batter in the middle

the alcohol is what kills you, especially beer. cutting that out alone will probably make a big difference. your body has to metabolize the alcohol first, so then it takes all its energy breaking that down and then has to work on your food
