That's one thing I miss about the East... riding on a high crowned road in a hardwood forest, just wide enough for two people to just miss their mirrors. Oh yeah, and the ditches! ... and the deer, pheasant, turkeys, etc.

 

That looks like a good time. I want to go out today but I am too tired and there is too much to do.

 

I just contacted Jason at HI LIFT, this would kind of be a group buy. He said that he could do a 48 inch hi lift if we could get 12 people to order at a sale price of $56.00 They are going for around $85.00 on the website of course that includes fees for paypal. He said that he would have to deliver them to 1 place for that price. I will just put a feeler out there, if we get the 12 people we can do it for the meet. I might start a thread. Lets start a list

OK it looks like the shocks will not be in on time. I'm still planning to attend, but garage space can be used for another truck. Maybe I'll help out with the cooking and help out on some other trucks.

You can call the shop about the uca's but the weld job will be done in my garage at little to no charge welded by mwild as long as he is still going.

Ok I wont be ordering any hi lift jacks for this meet. If any of you guys want to do a big order through hi lift, let me know. So many things from that website are on my list so......... If we set it up for a meet we can save on shipping and Jason seems like he will work with us.

 

I know I will be really putting myself out there but............ any special requests for the menu on saturday. I am sure crazy eddie will comment something like medium rare kobe beef and a fresh live lobster freshly pulcked from the waters in maine.......... lol. But I am thinking about bbq chicken thighs and a honey terriyaki ckicken thighs with hamburgers,and hotdogs. Trying to keep it simple, usually I throw a party I spend 10 minutes explaining the menu....... what do you guys think?

 

hey will there be access to a hose, we can do a mass car wash while others are inside, i know i need a waxing and im sure others could use one, we can bang em out with all of us there.

 

I dont know, I know they have a hose there but I am not sure about the weather. They have problems with the parking lot, so I dont want to turn it into a parking lot. There is a car wash right down the road not even .25 of a mile. If there are enough ppl interested I might be able to run down there thurs and see if they want to give us a good price on the premium wash and wax. If you are interested in getting some interior detailing done there is a detail shop down the road from that.

 

never need interior detailing, you can eat off teh floor already, i may have some rags to do some under the hood wiping.....hope weather holds out for sat.

 

Last time I checked the weather, high of 40 partly sunny. It shouldnt be bad...... I am definitely ready. I hope my tax returns come in before then I think I might get some stuff......I just dont know what yet.
