Depends. Just coffee is not a bad thing per se, it's more the stuff people put in it be it cream/sugar, or the coolatta drinks and whatever else they sell. I've never touched the stuff so IDK really.

Soda has always been my Kryptonite. That and this time of year I live on energy drinks, but not by choice.

You remember how fat I was when you came over a few yrs ago, nuff said..

Same here. Laphroaig is my favorite because it's got such a strong smokey peaty flavor.

Texture's all wrong, though. I just can't get past that part of it.

I happened to notice recently that the Toll House cookie dough packages say "do not consume raw cookie dough." Don't be ridiculous, Nestle. What else do you think I'm going to do with it...

that's what drove us to stop, the idea was that your eliminating all the crap ie preservatives and junk from your body. We've been thinking of giving it another go and see if we can have the same results but taking the same approach as your going to do.

It actually has the texture of meat. I've fed it to people without telling them and they didn't know

Neither of us are really overweight, but the idea of kind of doing a hard restart on your metabolism appealed to both of us with this diet.

Eating healthy is easy. Limit red meat( which sucks cause beef/ lamb are delicious) and eat mainly chicken/fish as protein. Limit starchy carbs to 1 serving a day( actual serving, not mericuh sized), no processed foods, try for things with no added sugar, lots of veggies, limit legume intake( peanuts, green beans, black beans etc). No soda/ beer is a biggie. Also should try to drink 3/4 of your body weight in oz water per day.

Takes about a month to get rid of cravings for stuff, after that you'll not really miss it

Prepping meals one to two times a week helps a lot too. I try to prep stuff on Sundays and Wednesdays.

haha, seems easier than it actually is, not succumbing to your cravings is pretty damn hard. once you get about a month into it it's definitely much easier.

Grass fed beef is a little pricey, but is a lot leaner than regular beef so if trying to eat healthy you can eat more of it since it has a lower fat content.

A common misconception is that you need to eat less. My current macro plan has me eating 2700 calories a day and still losing body fat/ gaining muscle. Eating like 1200 Cal's a day is stupid. All it does is cause your body to start using muscle for energy cause you're not getting enough carbs/ fat as fuel.

That's true. It's why prepping helps a ton. Prep your meals for the next few days and you'll always have something ready when you're hungry instead of reaching for chips, hot pockets etc...

Honestly I used to eat 4-6 a day. Especially after our daughter was born since we had no time. Haven't had one in probably a year and a half. So I figure I've probably added a months onto my lifespan for just that:rofl:

Hahaha that sounds amazing. I feel like my life is a constant struggle between burritos, and wanting to fit in my jeans

We already have two nearby, but we're getting another one of these about two miles from work: http://www.hotharrysburritos.com/

They're absolutely delicious. It'll make it that much harder for me to skip lunch.

Not in a burger, though. To me, at least. Maybe it's because I knew what it was, but something about it was off.

Well at least you're not struggling to fit your burrito in your jeans. That'd be disturbing.

Sure! One of my favorites is an Atlantic Brewing Coal Porter. You can shine a flashlight into one side of the glass and not see it from the other.

Here's a couple of pictures from this weekend.

It was what they call a reciprocal weekend, meaning that as long as you were registered in one state you didn't need to register in another between ME, NH and VT. As you can see it was very busy.

    Bosebuck Mountain Camps

Koobs Garage. Where they sell gas without ethanol. Very busy!

Oquossoc Marine. A Polaris snowmobile dealer
