My Dynapros are on their last leg, and I was pretty dead set on Duratracs in 265/75r16 load range C... But I started looking at Cooper S/T Maxx and now I cannot decide!! I originally wanted the Duratracs because they're C range and i don't offroad, and would be nice to get better gas mileage but since moving to Greenville my mpg is in the crapper so I might as well just get the S/T Maxx, enjoy like a 1/4" increase in height over the duratracs, and be able to crawl the malls with the stronger sidewall. Anybody have any thoughts or experiences with either of these tires that would help in my decision?

I like my Duratracs in 265/75/16 load C. I am going 255/85/16 next, but no DT's in that size, so I may go ST Maxx in that size. both great tires

How do you like their on road manners? When I think about it the DTs would suit more of my needs and still give me the opportunity to off road if I wanted to

real good on road, full siping, and I think they are snowflake rated. They howl a bit, not bad though like a mud tire. I run them at 38-40 psi on road, and down to 18-25 off road. I did lose some mpg because they are larger than stock, and heavier than stock. I avg 16.5 +/- now, but fully armored and added weight doesnt help with mpgs. they are one of the most aggressive all terrains out there i think, wider grooves than most ATs, to help with clearing mud.

Not bad mpg for being armored. Yeah, I think I'll just stick to the DTs. No need to get all the way up to a load E tire with a road queen :D

mine are wearing real well too, I was down to 14/32 from 19 I think, at 35 K miles. they are a bit balance happy, I would get them at a place that does free balance, got mine through discount tire

Good to know, I have heard they need quite a bit of balancing. I wasn't aware Discount Tires does free balancing. Thanks for the heads up
