Yeah, we generally do a week sometime from Jan-Mar, then again for a week around the end of October. At least until my wife retires; she has a hard time getting time-off in much bigger blocks than than that. We'll be spending a week with them again in May this year, at Disney World.

... And I have to save some of my leave for fishing and hunting. ;)

EDIT: sometimes my wife visits here for a week in Summer (July-ish); she's much braver than I.

My wife can only get about 7 days also because of the way they schedule work... I can relate.

Jimi knows you're not talking about him ... you'll need to give Greg a couple days to formulate a reply. ;)

That would be like a 120 degree (or better) temperature swing from our summer to your winter. But it'll definitely make that white leg issue disappear.

71 degrees here in Dallas at the moment. Only issue is that the building I work in has the HVAC set for winter. So it's getting a little toasty right about now.

I just checked, Palmer has 19°F with 17 mph wind out of the north for a feels like temp of 4°F. I'm starting to like it here...the "feels like" works for the good.

    x2 ... Looking good Marty. :)

Just got a letter from the insurance company I use for the application for collector car insurance . I was denied this coverage as the pictures given to them show this is a drag race car . the main reason was the 8 point cage and drag radials

    Bummer.
When I had my Chevy I used State Farm, and had 15,000 value coverage, And the same truck insurance as the Taco for under 400.00 a year. Was limited to 4,000 miles a year of driving.

I know we've been over this but have you tried Grundy? They never batted an eye at all the modifications or the roll bar
