I saw the name Meraki on the home page and was like WTF lol
Thought someone was selling their gear and was about to jump on it, we use their gear here at work. Top notch switch/networking gear!

 

haha yeah we looked into any companies with the name "meraki" in them. obviously nobody can trademark a single word like that. we will be in a completely different market than them anyways.

meraki [may-rah-kee] (adjective) This is a word that modern Greeks often use to describe doing something with soul, creativity, or love — when you put “something of yourself” into what you're doing, whatever it may be.

 

good to hear! we want to do simple, but useful/desired stuff. hopefully stay cheaper than the big names, and provide focus to people who have the same interests as us. stickers/patches will be our slow "it's just a logo" start but that will help us move to clothing quicker.

yes soon-ish lol. it's going to be a slow process for now since we both have so much going on and not much funding to put initially towards it, but each item will fund the next...that's the plan.
