@Sub-Zero @04yota - can you give an accurate description of where the tire came off?
It was roughly two hundred or so yards before the PNC exit that we found Angelo right?

Thanks for helping man. I took a drive there this morning and couldnt find anything. I have a feeling it is in the bushes to the left of the express lane. Didn't hop on the express lane, but I saw a couple of the maintenance people from the gsp also on the express lane fml. I did noticed however, there is a nj trooper station there. I belive holmdel. I asked one of the troopers if they can notify me if the maintenance crew finds it. He grabbed my info and all. After I left, I was wondering if I did right or not lol. Me and @Sub-Zero saw commotion underneath the bridge by the arts center last night. wonder if it was my tire causing that!! Lol so I was fuc$!#

Hopefully it didn't land into someone's windshield. That would really suck.

Doubtful though, because the Tropper that stopped and chatted with us after the spare installation would've mentioned something.

so it could have possibly gone into that little underpass going into the pnc arts center? I went down there too didnt see anything :notsure: I also saw a maintenance guy along the northbound local lanes, hopefully it turns up, it'd suck to lose a $300+ brand new wheel/tire
edit: looked at the map, the pnc exit is a lot longer than I thought

For sure. So I figure it's somewhere in the express lane, but hard to stop and peak while driving

Some of the carnage from last night. The ball joint bolt is right at the cotter pin in the affected side. As you can see the difference from the other side

Right here is where it happened I believe, could've been even a little further south (few hundred yards)

What is a button head bolt? Pic?
I'll swing by my local Tractor Supply something this week to find it. It's a new TSC , so everything in the nut and bolt aisle is still neat and organized and restocked.

This is exactly where I was when it happened. As soon as the tire fell off I merged right and stayed there. It was not a shoulder.
@Subway4X4 the nut and the abs saved me believe it or not. As soon as the tire fell the abs kicked in and I feel like it didn't make the rotor spin, but instead just drag
