I guess if it weighs over .55 lbs, you need to register it.

 

That's a weird thing to judge it on. I would have bet money it had to do with max altitude.

 

If by weird, you mean stupid and irrelevant, then yes, I'd agree.

 

Everything just gets lighter and more powerful in today's world. So it's only time until someone makes one that can reach 'unsafe' altitudes for planes, but be under the weight limit to register.

 

Here's a right and proper use for drones:

 

To get it out of the tree get a fishing weight and tie some twine to it. Chuck in tree and shake the branches.

 

I would have guessed it may be due to the cameras onboard now..which I can understand to a degree.

But I'm sure registering means paying. Yup

 

Drones only? Is my 10lb model plane ok?

 

I didn't know you had to register a drone. I know it's illegal to shoot them down though.

Allegedly the foundation form guy is backed up a week so they may start that friday or sometime next week. Then the framing guy is like a week after that.

 

Lol. Then he'll have a drone and 40 strands of fishing line with lead weights on the ends stuck in the tree, haha!

 

How much is it costing you to build a house?

Honestly. I haven't even opened the box for mine yet. I should if in case there is a problem with it but I haven't opened it because it's been cold or windy on my days off. I myself don't care about the cold but my kids do. Windy is a whole other story. I don't want to fly my new toy if its windy. Not until I log some time on it

 

Houses in the neighborhood start in the low 3s. We have a 1700 square foot house and 24x24 garage.

 

I'll swing by this weekend to see if anything is happening

 

We are going to try and do drive bys every saturday to see if we can get them moving a little quicker.
