I'd love if my two antennas were actually same length. :(

Let me know what your ideas are. I'm in the process of developing a whole series of brackets. If we can come up with something cool, yours will be free since I can use you test the product. I've got a lot of stuff in the design phases and when ready I'll be asking you guys for help and input with product testing. You'll be compensated with free shit or course.

Anyone done brakes on their 2/2.5 gen yet? I'm a little over 80,000mi and they squeal like hell and don't stop like they used to. I'm not sure if it makes sense to just grab Toyota pads from Claremont Toyota and be done? Or is there a real actual upgrade that isn't noisy and stops solid...

I'm a bit over 80K myself. Im pretty sure I was due for brakes, but I remember once I put the 33" tires on, the brakes started stealing way more. So I went ahead and changed them.

Yeah bigger tires and steel don't do good for a truck designed to weigh a certain amount! Did you use OEM?

I just did mine. The job itself is very easy, completed both sides in ~an hour.
If you're just getting new pads the OEM pads are great. I needed rotors too so I went to the EBC Sport rotors and green stuff pads. No noise and very happy with the stopping power so far.

I imagine it's hard to tell without a literal side-by-side comparison, how many miles do you have on them? EBC makes those green pads, right?

Yeah I figured right away that the weight was the issue. I stuck with OEM too.

Correct. All came together as a kit. I only have ~400 or 500 miles on them so I haven't stepped on them hard except for once when a :censored: pulled out infront of me.
Compared to stock they bite harder so that initial grab is much better. Overall power seems to be pretty similar, but it stops faster if that makes sense. For all my normal driving testing they're nice and smooth.

Better or... excessive? I've driven smaller cars (rentals, borrowing, etc) where the very first half inch of travel is a line between not-enough and WAY too much...
