I am stock right now and will be using the stock coils and shocks. i will be changing the shocks to 5100's later.

You wont need that quarter inch spacer for the drivers side if you are using stock coils.

Even when you swap for 5100's you wont need it (if you plan on running stock coils)

I will recommend swapping the Maxtrac rear shocks for bilstiens though

    And

If there is any way to swing it, I would ditch the rear blocks and get Dakars and be done with it.

Right on, anything on the drivetrain spacer or carrier drop kit?

I did a Carrier Bearing drop kit - Seemed to help out with my take off vibe.

Its so minimal now I can hardly even tell its there.

I ask people who ride if they feel it and they say no.

Yes sir. They are solid iron.

I just cleaned em with soap and water and a brush.

Let them dry really good, and hit em with some Rustoleum of your choice color. I went jet black.

Click on my signature pic and go to page 3 and you will see what I taped off (its not much)

I would post a picture but I had to wipe my phone

    :annoyed:

Do the lift then measure the driveshaft, you will be ok until you get it in no crazy wheeling. You need to lift first then measure for correct thickness IF needed.

Yes, don't install drive shaft spacer unless you need it. You could cause some major problems. My driveshaft only extends out of the yoke about 3/8 inch.

The spindles come with a e coating that is black. To further protect them I would recommend cleaning completely with alcohol then do a clear coat. You will want to do multiple coats of the clear being careful not to apply to much thickness. Too much coating weight will cause durability problems in the finish. If you wish too change the color spray a color coat then coat with a clear.

To all experienced spindle lift owners this will be my first. As of now my truck sits in the garage with suspension complete and wheels & tires in route (arriving Monday hopefully).

    Set up is as followed

    Front:
    4inch maxtrac spindle lift
    5100 bilstein set at 0.85
    stock coils
    ext. brake lines

    Rear:
    2in block
    5100 bilstein

    Wheels and Tires:

    20x12 moto metals -44 offset

    Toyo Open Country Rt
    33x12.5r20

My question would be seeing is how max backspacing allowed for this lift is 4.75, and with the current setup I'm at 4.77. Will the .02 difference going to warrant wheel spacers to avoid rim/wheel contact with spindle or any other suspension parts? Please excuse my ignorance if this has been discussed in the past 485 pages. Thanks in advance.

This is a mall crawler as some would call it and not going to be used for wheeling.

Going to rub in the fenders with that wide of a tire

the wheels will clear the spindles no problem. I ran the 5100s at 1.75 on stock springs and had to cut the front bumper cover and back by the firewall.

Backspacing is relative to rim diameter. Like others said you'll be fine on the spindles, just figure out where you need to trim for the tires now.

What did you guys do for the rear lift?
I'm currently running 2" blocks. Looking into different avenues to achieve 3". Will the ride be terrible if I were to go with AAL and a 1 inch block instead of a 3"block.
    Thanks.
