The closest I found was a 5/8-18x4 socket head cap screw at McMaster.com. Add a washer?

What do you need em for?

 

1 Ton steering I put on my a wife's XJ hits the head of the lower track bar bolt before full lock.

It is. The not is welded to a tab to keep it from spinnng because it's up inside the mount. If that makes sense.

 

so I'm assuming you couldn't just stick the bolt through the other side and then use a low profile nut? Since the nut is welded in some hard to reach spot?
It'd probably be pretty sketch too...

 

Yeah, that won't work. The manufacturer of the kit said to get a button head that seems to be unobtainable.

Remove track bar entirely and just 4 link it.

If you give me til tomorrow, I can find you one of the bolts that came OEM with a torx head in stead of a normal hex bolt head. 90% came with the torx bolt from the factory, the other 10% came with a hex head bolt, no system to it, I can guarantee I have them at work, we take these jeep rears out all the time.

 

I really appreciate the offer, but it's a bigger than stock bolt. I had to drill the mount out.
