    I've yet to do any mods myself but I can't tell you how many posts I've read over and over. Lol. As far as I can tell, definitely install the ecgs bearing. You may not notice vibration right away and it will come soon after. You may get instant vibration. If I'm correct the BP51 is a 3" lift? I plan on doing the bearing when I lift this summer because I've read about vibrations on everything from a spacer kit to a full lift with uca's and everything. Just my 2 cents take it how you will! Good luck

    ECGS is not the carrier bearing, its the driver CV Inner bearing. Requiring the shaft to be pulled to install.

    Millions of threads on this already. If you lift you will need the bearing. Most people don't think they have the bearing vibration, till they replace it with the ECGS one and then notice how quite the ride is.

    It's not a bearing....it's a bushing.

    Do it. Installed mine a few weeks ago....noise and vibes are gone. Rides smooth like before the lift.

    This is the first time I've seen someone say this, maybe it was installed incorrectly? What are the symptoms your experiencing?

    it was installed correct i double checked lol and the same that everyone else is, hmmm/vibration at about 25-30 mph goes away in 4WD

    Well i went ahead and bought the ECGS Bushing, will throw it in regardless. What other issues (if any) are ppl experiencing after 3in lifts?

    Do the ECGS bushing. I did it on my 2nd and 3rd gen- IT WORKS. A little labor intensive because I did it after I installed the lift.

    all tore up already
    id strongly recommend doing the bushing with the lift. i didnt and ended up taking it all apart a couple months later to do the bushing when i couldnt stand the humming anymore

    Is there a similar bushing on the passenger side? Wonder if you need to do that side as well?

    You only need to do the driver side/ replacing the needle bearing w/the bushing!

    That posted stated he did that and still had the vibe....thats why I was asking. Mine went away with the ECGS bushing.

    Yes, you could experience rear driveline vibrations. I recommend measuring the angles of trans and pinion flanges along with driveshaft angles as they sit stock, then compare them to after you lift your truck. The before measurement is a good reference to go by.

    Lifted my 017 TRD offroad this past Saturday with an OME kit and everything is good, no problems at all. The only thing I did was use the center bearing spacers to lower the driveline.
