Also, would you guys be interested in going out on a trip? I have had several friends talk about Mils Canyon north of Clovis that has decent trails i guess, i think its about 4 hours from here. Or they have also talked about a place out near Amarrilo, I cant remember the name of it right now though.

Either way, all I know is I really want to go test out the truck besides just at the dairy.

I thinking any weekend or day we can figure out we are free. I probably wont have a free weekend till mid to end of Jan.

There is a dairy south of base that has a track and kind of a big sand pit. It's just prior to getting to Portales on the west side of the highway. Its not bad for a couple of hours, I would say its better for dirt bikes but is still decent for being so close.

We could head there for a day prior to doing an overnight trip, something more involved, just to meet and figure out what we want to do?

Its the second one with Sun Valley Dairy. All you have to do is go in the front office and file out a waiver and its open daylight hours and no charges.

I think the first one is a landfill. lol

So this weekend coming up, I may be down to caravan down. I saw DJ Krazy k will be going. Any idea if this run is OK for a stock 4runner?

 

Cool, and I have no idea what its like there, I will ask the others though. Sounds like we should meet at 0730ish in the Walmart parking lot, then leave there round 8 to meet the others in Logan at 10:00.

 

They said you should be fine stock, worse comes to worse you could just hop in with any of us.
