For those that were wondering what I was talking about. I'm going back to the no luck with police /law enforcement conversation that we have had before.

My buddy and I were riding this weekend when we got stopped by Maine fish and game wardens. They were checking everyone for their registrations when they pulled us over for the loud exhausts that we both have. Well after talking to me for a minute the warden I was speaking to says he's gonna give me a ticket for the minimum amount. Well all this time my friend is having to explain why the numbers on his registration doesn't match the vin number on his sled (he got the numbers off of insurance card, they messed them up). All the while they are running his info to see if the sled is stolen and everything. Well moral of my story is after all of this they let him go with nothing at all and I get a ticket. This is just my luck

I didn't think your exhaust was all that loud. And I didn't think that was something you could get a ticket for out of state.

I'd bet anyone $50 that the $5 charge doubles within 5 years. It'll turn into another money grab.

At least. That said I think bicycles should be registered, at least if one of the assholes causes an accident or damages your vehicle you have some way to identify them

Oh they are motherfuckers about exhausts on sleds these days. You can't ride with one anymore, period. Doesn't matter what state you live in or where you are riding, you will get nailed by almost every CO you pass these days. You should know that, Rob!
