Do they make Bourbon In Tennessee? I don't drink, so I really don't have any information about distilleries down there...

it wasnt TOO cold, maybe 45 and misty. the woods there though is WAY different than TN/KY. overall it was a great time. almost everyone seems to have a snorkel out here and theres a wide variety of builds which is cool seeing

Jack Daniels and George Dickel are both Tennessee Bourbon

 

So sad... They are both Tennessee whiskey (whisky in the case of Dickel). Bourbons aren't charcoal filtered, which is what distinguishes a Tennessee whiskey from other distilled spirits such as scotch, bourbon, and other styles of whiskey. There are quite a few TN bourbons out there though.

 

They're Tennessee WHISKEY. Bourbon, in the truest sense, has to be made in what was the original "Bourbon County" in Kentucky. When Kentucky was part of West Virginia, Ky was divided into 3 counties. Bourbon County being the central of the 3. Also, Jack Daniels is NOT made by the prescribed "recipe'" to qualify it as bourbon. Don't know about Dickel..... BTW, who would put something named "DICKEL" in their mouth...?

I like just about all beers. As long as it isn't an IPA I'm in. If I'm planning on drinking a lot, I'll drink light beer. If I'm going to enjoy a couple, I like to experiment in the craft world. Porters and stouts are usually my go-to. As of late, I've been on a sour beer kick.
