I have to get my sliders on, finish the front bumper install, diff breathers, gray wire mod, run the cable for my CB antenna, wire in the rear bumper lights(not sure if I want to do a switch or run them to the reverse lights), get the correct size fogs for front bumper, and maybe wheels and tires. Oh yeah, Rebuild my Icons(I ordered the rebuild kit ) and swap the OME lift out with mine..... So I guess I'm pretty much done...LOL

Edit: I also need to install my sound system but that can wait until after LBL

 

Yeah... My wife is getting pissed... lol

Best/brightest led interior lights?

 

Remember to leave a gap, about 1/2", between the bumper and fenders for body flex. Might as well put the rear lights on a separate switch so you can use them whenever you want. I thought you weren't doing the rebuild yourself?

 

Have used jumpers in both my truck and have been pleased.

it was $150 per coilover to have ICON do it and shipping on my dime both ways. I ordered the rebuild kit for both form them for $65. I guess we will see if that was a good choice this weekend. lol

I think my lower control arm bushing need to be replaced. I am still getting a bit of bumping at low speeds when on small bumps and when braking. I've done the research and watched the youtube videos and it appears to be quite an ordeal to replace them.

Today, just for kicks and giggles, I called around to get an estimate. 4wheelparts outright said they recommend completely replacing the LCA. I also called the Toyota dealership in Nashville and their quote was $1300. I asked her the break down the price and the labor was only 1.5 hours, parts were $850, plus an alignment.

If I'm not mistaken, LCA bushings cost less than $80, so Toyota was going to rape me on parts.

So that leaves me with trying to do this myself. Anyone have any further advise/tips from previous experience? Anyone want to get their hands dirty one weekend?

 

Buy brand new lca's from rock auto for like 80-100 each and just swap them out

 

I think down south motorsports made a video and it worked for me.
