    If I were making my own pot... no way could I do 500 cal per day! That's only 2 snickers!!!!

    Stuff and things to make glamorous camping faster and more enjoyable.
    Also, if you use high quality welding cables, they have a slightly different rating. I did the math based on the marine electrical rating charts I found (Blue Sea has a great circuit wizard), and came up needing 2/0 for my dual battery run. When the cable I ordered arrived, the manufacturer specs allowed me to downsize to #2.

    Do the math, and size one gauge higher just because. Then when you decide ona cable supplier, double check their specs.
