    Purpose is for protection, i hit a fucking deer are 40-45 mph and my bullbar took the whole impact, it saved my truck from alot of damage. after that the bullbar was not bent at all and was put back on my truck

    well urs must be built from kryptonite b/c there have been people on here that have taken less than that and bent them back into the bumper, causing more damage

    mine did push the bumper on my truck only because it pivoted where its bolted onto the truck. But if it wasnt there then the deer would have taken out my grille and cause more damage, because the bullbar was there it pushed the deer downward to the ground causing it to slide across the road and get run over by a honda accord
