That's why I chose the Icon setup as well. I didn't want the lift or the tires stuck so far out. However, I am also considering spindles + Icons in the future when I need bigger tires.

I do have the Icon progressive AAL in the rear with stock leafs. It rides great but I doubt if it provides enough lift to match the spindles. I will probably go Allpro Standards or Alcan custom when the time comes.

But do you think you got 1.5" out of it? Or doo they end up sagging out a bit?

I would just get Dakars and be done with it.

Could add an OME AAL to it if you like.

HAHA!!! I might as well be collecting some kick back from them!!!

Ive had really good luck with mine, great ride and dead silent.

Ive heard the horror stories about squeaking and everything but they must have upped their game because mine came with what appeared to be some sort of isolators between each leaf. And also had some sort of lube in there already. Not one peep from my rear end.

Not sagging, but they don't handle weight very well. (No overload )

Yeah I get it, go full leaf pack, I have some ideas I want to try first. I want my truck to be kind of sleeper and sit as low as it can, I wish these spindles were made in 3" to be completely honest.

The only thing I had to add was an "e" to "one".... C'mon @ChadsPride at least make us work for these gems :bananadead:

Edit to add: AAL's are only a temporary bandaid.... I lasted about 11 months until my leaf pack was back to bottoming out and riding like a clapped out 89 Buick with cinderblocks in the trunk. Buy once cry once, get a full leaf pack so the rear matches the front in terms of quality.

Yeah I hear ya, I was EXTREMELY nervous about going to full 4"

and honestly, after its done....Its really not THAT much lift...

You can try and pay 3x the price for Camburg spindles - they are 3.5"

The other options I've found is SUA set up like chaos has. I think Camburgs are 4" and chaos is 3.5" but I can't justify that extra 1000 for a half inch, I know they're fully fabricated, but I'm not racing. Im going on surf trips to Baja and I'm not trying to Robby Gordon my way down there lol. I appreciate all the feedback and advice!

OH yeah, I stand corrected fully!!!

Its the TC spindles that are 3.5" and all of the money in the account haha.

I wanted those originally, but could not afford it.

Damn it @ChadsPride now you got me in here wanting spindles

So I have been looking around and for the six inches of lift I wanted to go with I am thinking of hitting up Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road for some Maxtrac Spindles and the OME kit with Dakars. My only question is would the truck sit level enough in the rear if I added Dakars with the OME AAL's when I had 6-7 inches up front?

Ive got 5" up front and 3" out back and its perfectly level - So I think if you add the OME AAL you should be looking good!!!!
