I would ask a bit more than what you are looking to get for it that way you can negotiate the price with a potential buyer, if you get no interest in the truck you can always lower the price some and see what happens. Around here you could probably get about $9-11k pretty quickly and I believe in your area it should be about the same maybe even around what you are hoping for.

That would be worth a ton here in Montana, people are selling tacomas with 350,000 miles on them for like 6000. It's crazy!

I also have a 98. Still books for 7800 around here. You could get what you want for your pickup but like everyone else says it will take the right buyer. Don't let someone haggle down to 6000. That would be a steal. I'm keeping mine. Where I live people don't really pay over book for anything unless they are getting it in the shorts at the dealer for a trade. Just keep it! and get a 4-runner :)

it's great, the handling is just awesome in the curves and puts a smile on my face every time I get a chance to ride it.

It looks super nice. I've only been riding since last April. I started on a 1995 Yamaha YZF 600 that I'm selling. Now I have a Suzuki Vstrom 650. It's a commuter and gets the job done.
