I am!

 

On and off. Finally got back onto the story ( still havent finished) and just about to blow the institute away.

 

I haven't touched it since before Far Harbor.

I raged when an update came out and destroyed my base on the island.

I plan on reinstalling fresh, adding my favorite mods, and replaying from the beginning.

 

I got totally screwed up by the latest mod update to the Unlock Settlement Objects mod that I thought had tanked my game but I got it sorted out

 

I finally started playing again today. Decided it was time to do the vault tec missions.

 

I'm trying to figure out a way to make the Boston Airport a decent settlement but you can't build stores there

 

You can't build up to the Prydwen either. That would make it a cool settlement.

 

Is there a workshop at the Prydwen ?

 

Not that I'm aware of but it would be cool if they were linked. I think I read that settlers occupy both though. Not sure.

 

I'll have to investigate

You can't build a radio beacon at the airport so you would need to move settlers there from another settlement

 

I haven't played since last summer. FO3 occupied much of my time in the fall, though. That was my first go at it and highly enjoyable. As others have stated, I too am going to start fresh with suitable mods and have fun w/ FO4.

 

Building a vault isn't much fun. They made it look way more fun in the video

 

The pieces never hooked up correctly for me and were a pain in the ass to align.

 

Yeah I only did as much as I had to in order to complete the DLC missions

 

Yeah that shit drives me crazy. I moved onto fucking around with the contraptions

 

The Vault tec pieces make good bunkers in your other settlements

and seriously , anybody that likes settlement building should get ANDREWCX's Unlock Settlement Objects mod plus all his DLC plug ins for that mod

So much more stuff you can use to build

4K textures have been out on PC for quite awhile via community.

 

Getting harder to level up now

That's what I figured. I know with all the textures I have already I've pretty much maxed what my 980Ti can do but still running 30-60 fps.
