New Kenwood HU!

Just installed the Kenwood Excelon DDX9903S, very nice upgrade considering the factory HU.

 

Congrats !! Got the DNX570HD myself a couple of years back.

 

Thanks, it's a big improvement with Bluetooth alone

 

Does it have GPS

 

Are you still running the factory speakers?

 

It does not, it works off apple car play or android that's better than having to update the GPS later on

 

As of right now I do, but soon I will upgrade the speakers, little by little as shit is expensive

 

Dang right, do it peacemeal as you go along. When you do the speakers in the doors, think about putting some sound deadning mat in there, like Hushmat or Dynamat. Makes a heck of a difference, and you might as well do it when you got the door apart.

 

Good call, now to price that stuff as well

 

As someone who has done the research, stingy as hell .....and has upgraded multiple times. May I offer suggestions?
Not cheap... but...... Best bang for the Buck?

Let me put a few pics together and I'll post something tomorrow. I will say I have not done any sound dampening "YET" Other than that, Dollar $ for Dollar $.
