Do you drive a Pinto and keep your truck in the garage because tires for the truck are more expensive? Or because if you get in a wreck the truck would cost more to repair?

I've dropped my Fluke. That nice rubber case on it bounces pretty good. It sleeps in a nice padded case in my tool box. I do have a HF meter in the cabinet in the garage, still in its package. I gave away the others that I had.
I'll go for the Fluke before the HF.

Was just on the website, why do they have 2 or 3 of what appears to be the same product but with different item numbers? Any difference in the items?

There are a bunch like that, usually when there is a product or packaging design change.

    Ha, ha. Kinda.
I've got a Tundra in the garage that hasn't moved since October. It runs just fine, just prefer running the Tacoma for everyday driving.

Make no mistake....Harbor freight sells cheap junk that is made in Chinlaeshistan.

That being said, there is some deals to be had there.

Never buy hand tools from Harbor freight with the exception of impact sockets. Craftsman hand tools carry a lifetime warranty, are much higher quality and not much more money.

Never buy dangerous power tools from Harbor freight (circular saws, table saws, etc.) The displays are falling apart.

I've had decent luck with pneumatic implements from Harbor freight but you can tell that the quality is lacking.

They were most like likely not referring to a "city in china" but referencing China as an undesirable country.

They have different part# for the same item, it depends on the region they sell it.

I don't have a coupon to look at but I'm guessing they're not valid on tool boxes

But they do put out coupons for tool boxes on a fairly regular basis.

Has anyone else noticed the 90amp welder is now being marketed as a 120amp? Did they actually increase the amps? Or just change the label?

Someone on another site opined that the different part numbers for what appears to be the same item is probably due to different factories making the items.
