Nah, its a major PITA to get them out. CVJ rebuilds them with and they are OEM spec so its not bad.

Haha yup. Didn't look like that when I put it in!

Oh I forgot, last time I was at the dealer I had them check the price of a new rack and it was $900 for a "partially rebuilt" rack.. not even a brand new one.

I'll have to look into CVJ. I have been having a weird steering issue, the wheel sticks kinda like on a solid axle vehicle. I'll turn right and it'll stick forwards the right and same with the left. I need to check the shafts if the splines aren't damaged.

I'm a first genner, but I second CVJ. They're the go-to for racks and axles if you don't want to fork over the coin for OEM.

They tried to align it but they couldn't due to that steering issue. So going to figure it out this weekend

It's been pretty good so far, everything has stayed torqued to spec. Also if you scratch your LCA's at all on a rock make sure you clear coat them or paint to cover.

Sounds good. I need to come over, it's been like 2 months if not longer

Hmm weird. I have to get my truck fixed up asap

Dang how many miles on your rig? Planning on swapping the fluid in my rack soon so it might last longer. Sucks to here the moogs failed. I got the inners that Dakota recommended but am waiting for the moogs to fail before installing.

I had one in August after installing LT. Ran the rubicon and a few other trails and only my steering wheel was off (2 o'clock direction) but the truck drove straight. I think mainly it's the TC cam tab gussets

Pretty fucking pissed right now. My steering rack was supposed to be delivered today. I watched the UPS guy deliver packages to 2 of my neighbors then drive off. Moments later I get an email saying my package was delivered and left on the front porch. I checked everywhere and didn't find it, also checked with my neighbors and they didn't get mine on accident. Claim has already started

I was there 4 months ago with a tablet I bought. Claim was opened. Company said "i" someone signed for it so I was shit out of luck. The person was kind enough to to bring it by 2 weeks later. They said their renter signed for it.

I don't think I had to sign for this one. Going to call CVJ tomorrow though and see what they say.
