    If you're taking a trailer of any kind, then it's worth staying later into the afternoon at least on Saturday.

    I wanna say it took me close to 2 hours to get to the highway last year just waiting in the exit line.

    Plus, you can explore the area with far less congestion.

    Steve Hansen a Chaplain from Racers for Christ will be out there all week. I'm sure he's planning a worship service of some sort. He normally puts flyers near the outhouses if anyone's interested.

    Pretty much what @Ackrite said. Just a bunch of rigs leaving. Some of the big obstacles are fun to go watch as the everyday Joe trys to tackle them. Still cool to go and check out and see who's still around.

    Doesn't matter how late, but get there Friday night to see a lot of the action that the regular Joe's put on damn near til the sun comes up.

    That carnage can be more entertaining than the pros during the main race.
