that's Ok -I understand. I did find out yesterday my new Tacoma is in shipment somewhere between here and San Antone!

 

I get my 7-8 hrs sleep each nite -- heading that way soon. Stacked and split (at least the hydraulic woodsplitter did) a bunch of wood today. I tend to be a nite person!

promise not to laugh -- I found (accidently) some Blue tire valve stem covers at Wal mart, and I did buy a used flip down back step for it. That's it for now, but I will eventually get some sort of step in bars and a topper for it. It will take me some getting used to it coming from a 02 F150 extended cab going to the 4x4 SR5 AC AT V6.

 

Not going to laugh everyone mod's to their liking . I will caution you however, those blue stem covers I venture are aluminum. If so be sure you use some sort of anti seize on the valve threads ensure you do not get it in the valve as it may ruin the sensor. I ran a set of Black Knurled ones on my truck for about a year , it may be do to the weather here but they damn near seized on the valve stems. I destroyed 2 of the 4 getting them back off . I should have known better dissimilar metal corrosion and the difference in thermal conductivity etc etc .

It may not matter in your neck of the woods and to be honest I only check the air on rotation or when towing etc it was after the winter here went to set up to camping and had a heck of time getting them off. I Put the originals back on with plans on ordering Acft grade Schrader hex brass ones and just paint them.
